Dr. Abhinav Goel - Founder & CEO

Dr. Abhinav Goel is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience across BFSI (corporate banking and credit rating) and business law. A significant part of his career—over 21 years—was with the Fitch Group, a leading international credit rating agency, where he served for nearly 15 years as Senior Director. During this period, he held leadership roles across both analytical functions (international and national ratings) and business development, working closely with large and mid-sized corporates in India.

Dr. Goel has led an a SBU as Country Head, managing pan-India teams, and built long-standing relationships with large corporates. He was part of the Asia-Pacific Energy & Utilities team at Fitch Ratings and also served a deputation with Fitch Australia. Prior to joining Fitch, he worked with the Corporate Banking division of The Bank of Nova Scotia and the Corporate Finance division of Kotak Mahindra Finance Limited (now Kotak Mahindra Bank).

Alongside his financial expertise, Dr. Goel has strong legal credentials, specialising in business law. He holds a postgraduate degree from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, and has completed certifications from NLU-Lucknow and Leiden University, Netherlands. He is a certified Arbitrator in India, a registered Independent Director, and has served as a visiting faculty at leading Indian academic institutions.

Dr. Goel has published research in reputed international academic journals as well as Indian business and academic publications. He has presented papers at prominent national and international conferences and is frequently quoted or interviewed by leading business media, including The Financial Times and The Wall Street Journal. He is also a regular speaker and panel moderator at industry and academic forums, including those organised by CII.

Academically, Dr. Goel holds a Ph.D. from Delhi Technological University, an MBA from IIM Indore, an MBL from NLSIU Bengaluru, and a B.Com (H) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi. He completed his schooling at DPS, RK Puram, New Delhi, and has received several academic and professional recognitions, including an Economic Times Award and an All-India Rank in an ICAI examination.
