Arthlawgic was born out of my personal and professional experiences.
On interacting with people across age and income groups, I realised – On financial Investments there are twin problems of
financial illiteracy and financial indiscipline.
What hinders wealth building is not lack of income but lack of knowledge and discipline.
On real estate Investments- there are twin problems of where to invest or how to recover past investments.
Overall, on investments, I discovered people need someone who can give them a structured perspective of products and associated risks with integrity, honesty, and transparency. They need a true friend.
No one wants to go to court. But life sometimes brings us to a situation, where legal action is unavoidable.
I faced some of these situations early in life, and I had no idea how to approach the situation. I realised, just like in investments, people need someone who can provide a perspective on legal matters with integrity, honesty, and transparency. Someone who can help them select an appropriate advocate and help them through the complex Indian judicial system. Some good friendly advice helped me through, but everyone does not get it so easily. Of course, my extensive legal education also came in handy.
I have been approached by friends and family on many occasions to help them out on varied matters – from equity and debt funding, business plan preparation, credit rating, financial planning & budgeting to IPR
My long experience as Country Head of rating business for SMEs showed me that these are mostly one-man shows with no proper CFO, or senior personnel to handle complex financial, business or legal situations.
Again, a need for an experienced, qualified, and trustworthy business and legal advisor was clear.
To cut the long short, my experiences- personal and professional; my long stint as Country Head of an MNC business; and my extensive education in the fields of finance and law, led to the creation of Arthlawgic – a boutique firm specializing in financial, legal and business advisory.
